A little update on things to come for my 2000th post on this blog, and which will also be posted over on my Photography Blog (which is finally going to see more regular use, rejoice), and potentially Flickr (still being updated anew).
It’s been a while since I took up photography, and it’s safe to say that I was abysmal when I first started - horrible horizons, exposure, and subject placement - but I believe that, in the three to four years I’ve been working in this field, I’ve improved tremendously. Shots that would have been too hard for me to even grasp come easily now, and I genuinely enjoy going out for a day or two and photographing the wildlife - which has become a key interest in mine and one I intend to go further with.
Outside of wildlife I always loved architecture and street photography, both of which I had a knack for but, ultimately, decided I preferred the imagery of animals and nature. That isn’t to say I won’t dabble in it from time-to-time, as I do with lots of different subjects, it’s just there’ll be less coming from me now I’ve got my place in further education.
If all goes to plan, you’ll all see much more from me now, and even more varied and diverse subjects.
As a final note, I might intend to change my presenting name for photography, as it no longer sits well with me.
Messing around due to a lack of inspiration, bad weather, and work - hence the lack of anything for the past month or two. So here, have a woof.

A less-than-serious image I captured of a Lion, was a planned photo for college work. Wanted to go for something that strayed away slightly from the typical proud-and-powerful look.
